Lifespan :
The Malinois dogs live 12 to 14 years whereas the lifespan of Pitbulls is 12 to 16 years. so the Pitbulls live on average two years longer.
General Health :
Both breeds are generally healthy but as with all breeds they're prone to certain health conditions not all dogs will get any or all of these diseases.
Affectionate With Family :
Pitbull is a dog that lives for his family they are not a good choice for people who can give them little or no attention. Although Malinois are good sized dogs they are very people-oriented and want to be included in family activities.
Intelligence :
Both breeds are very intelligent but the Malinois is more so than Pitbull and he is one of the most intelligent dog breeds in the world.
Kid-Friendly :

Pitbulls are very good guard dogs but in comparison to Malinois they are much worse. Malinois are one of the best watch dogs in the world.
Tendency To Bark Or Howl :
Malinois does not howl but he barks a lot that's normal for any watchdog while Pitbull is much quieter.
Tolerates Being Alone :
The Pitbull is not tolerant of being alone they can be disturbed when they're left alone while Malinois is more tolerant of being alone.
Tolerates Cold Weather :
Of course the Malinois has longer hair than Pitbull so he is more tolerant to cold weather.
Tolerates Hot Weather :
Both breeds are moderately tolerant of hot weather.
