Dogs have always been known for their loyalty, their unconditional love, and their friendship. The Military Hero:

Balto Dog : 

A black and white husky named Balto was the lead sled dog for Gunnar Cason sled team on the last leg of the 1925 serum run to Nome Alaska. He led the team to hazardous blizzards and ice to deliver the critical medicine to the citizens of now and gained fame in the process. He in case in toward the west coast and later appeared in a 30 minute film depicting the serum run. Balto taxidermy likeness is to this day displayed in the Cleveland museum of national history. Barry of Switzerland Dog : 

One specific Saint Bernard from Switzerland has earned his place in history for his many acts of heroism that's Barry. Who lived in the same Bernard passed between 1800 and 1812. In his lifetime he saved the lives of more than 40 people he's the more realized at the natural history museum in Bern Switzerland, where his body remains today (2).

Sergeant Stubby Dog : 

In 1917 a stray dog wandered on to the Yale college campus were members of the military were in training to be sent abroad to fight World War I. The man named him study and he quickly became the beloved mascot, eventually they smuggle stubby to the front lines in France. Where he warned men of poison gas attacks and located wounded soldiers stubby earned the rank of sergeant for attacking a German spy (3).

Swansea Jack Dog : 

Swansea Jack was a flat coated retriever who was born in 1930 and live near the docks of Swansea Scotland. Whenever there were cries for help in the water Jack would always respond. He made his first rescue when he was still a puppy saving a 12 year old boy. A few weeks later he saved a swimmer from the docks. Jack may have saved as many as 27 people from drowning during his short life. He died in 1937 after accidentally eating rat poison (4).

Smokey Dog : 

In 1944 an American soldier in the New Guinea jungle discovered a stray Yorkshire terrier. Smoky as she was named by the soldier became the soldier’s loyal partner and something of a World War II mascot. She spent 18 months in combat in New Guinea and the Philippines. She saved many lives by warning soldiers of incoming fire help string communication wires between outposts in is considered one of the world's first therapy dog (5).

Nemo Dog : 

Nemo is a German shepherd born in 1962 by the time he was to me it was a member of the U. S. Air Force. In 1966 he is human or transfer to serve in South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. One night Nemo alerted his team into the presence of enemy soldiers nearby before being shot by enemy fire. Mancs Dog : 

This German shepherd was a famous rescue dog hungry during the 1990s and 2000s. Mancs his name is Paul excelled at locating earthquake survivors beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings. He and his owner Laszlo approach for took in multiple rescue missions. Mancs became famous for helping rescue a trapped 3 year old in Turkey. Who spent more than 80 hours beneath rubble during the Izmit earthquake of 1999. A statue of his likeness was erected in 2004 in downtown the schools (7).

Laika Dog : 

Laika was the first dog to orbit the earth in a spaceship. Originally a stray she was given a place on a rocket ship intended to orbit the earth sadly this was a suicide mission for Laika. She was given only one meal and 7 days’ worth of oxygen and it was presumed to be a one way trip into space. Well you can give her life to the Soviet space program for mankind's journey into the final frontier (8).
